NEMA Chicago is currently the tallest all-residential tower in the city of Chicago; 8th tallest building in the city; and the tallest skyscraper south of Willis Tower. At 76-stories and 896 feet tall, this 1.3 million square foot tower has 800 rental units offering sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. The tower was designed to achieve LEED Silver rating.
Also known as One Grant Park, this mixed use tower is located at intersection of 1200 S Indiana and 113 E Roosevelt in busy South Loop neighborhood of Chicago. NEMA’s signature residences range from studios to four-bedroom apartments.
M-BIM Vircon provided rebar detailing for this mega project supplying accurate rebar placing drawings, bending schedules, and rebar accessories details including bar supports, special bends, and mechanical couplers helping this project meet its aggressive construction schedule. There were several sets of revised structural drawings during course of this project; however DBMV crew kept pace with the schedule without impacting the quality of output.
